I am so proud of you for not letting that go! And you are exactly right. It’s not our job to judge each other it’s our job to love each other. Gossip is a terrible thing and we should avoid it whenever possible! You must go to a good church where the Bible is actually being taught. 😊
I think people forget that they aren’t perfect… we are all struggling with something and helping rather than hurting is really what the Lord wants us to do. So much more is accomplished that way. 🙂
He murdered Christians before he was saved and became one of the greatest followers of Christ after he was saved but even he is one who knew he was a sinner. He said in 1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. That says it all…
Amen. We can never be afraid of letting God speak through us, through our hearts. I love the purity of your response. I just finished reading the short story The Broker and the Bum. Everyone has their own walk in life … with Christ … we must support each other, all people.
I used to be in a leadership position at my old church. I stepped up and into a hotbed of gossip, infighting, and very unchristian behavior. It was ugly and got uglier. My best efforts could not bridge the dissention and ultimately the church split. That was enough to cause me to not just walk away from church for several years but to walk away from God. Anxiety comes from a variety of sources. I would not question a church leader needing help through counseling or medication at times.
I had a very similar story being in leadership. There were a lot of cracks others didn’t see and I too had to step down and away for quite a long time. But God drew me closer to Him through those times. ❤️

You said that so well! It’s not our job to judge each other, it’s our job to love each other ❤️❤️❤️

Even Paul was not perfect. 👍🏼
Absolutely ❤️

He also spoke of having a thorn in his side to keep him humble and dependent upon God.
Yes so true. So much wisdom in our brother Paul.
