Trust sounds beautiful when we talk about it in church. It’s a word we sing in worship songs, something we say when we’re trying to encourage someone else.
This is so true. I just read this in the car park after a late grocery run and it spoke directly to my heart. In this season of surrender, I’ve been questioning God, especially about ‘losing things’ while fully trusting Him. I’ve wondered why drawing closer to Him sometimes feels like it costs everything and then this notification popped up as I was checking emails for work. God is so good!!! He meets us right where we are. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing these words. They were such a beautiful encouragement. ❤️ God bless you!"
Thank you so much for this article. One of my dear friends and I were just talking about this last night. I’ve been in this season for a few years now and I’m waiting to see where The Lord is going to take me. I’m also praying for and working on complete surrender. For me, one of the hardest things is being unable to help, fix and save the one I love. Knowing I’ve said all there is to say, The Lord reminded me that this is His battle and it’s for His glory. I also know that there is no hope without Him! His timing is perfect and nothing is impossible for Him.
You’re so gifted that you seem to outdo every article you write. They’re all so encouraging and for me this one really resonates with my Christian experience.
It struck me that Jesus was so perfect in every way, yet he was betrayed, hated and rejected, so how can i complain when i’m a natural born sinner? Of course, i should expect the same.
Praise God for your lovely gift of putting this in such an applicable way.
I’m so glad that this post resonated with you today! This one took me a little longer to try and pen and make it make sense like it does in my thoughts, so I appreciate your words ❤️❤️❤️
Oh Sarah, this is so true, trust is so real, tangible and costly! You can try but broken trust can never be mended! It has a devasting effect on your life and those around you, leaving you broken in so many ways. The question 'why' and the hurt is so very real, you can taste it. Until you turn from your own pain and focus on the pain He endured for us on the cross! Once to understand that, you know, He is the Healer of the broken-hearted, He is the restorer of our peace and when I let go and let God, my life changed! I give Him the Praise and the Glory for lifting me out of a downward spiral into His wonderful Light. Coram Deo

You said it so perfectly. It’s His battle and that’s why it’s so hard to simply trust without taking it on ourselves. You’ve got this ❤️
Thank-you for the encouragement and our foundation is built on Jesus Christ alone.
Oh lovely 🥰 I’m so happy this post blessed you ❤️
