She was the outsider, the servant, the one who was used and discarded when she no longer served a purpose. And yet, in her pain, in her wilderness, Hagar encountered the God who sees.
So beautiful, Sarah! Hagar's story has long been my consolation through trials and difficult times. Such a good reminder that he is the one who sees our broken hearts ad suffering.
El Roi is my favorite alternative name for God…”the God who sees me.” Thank you so much for this piece. It is so well done and an awesome reminder that God sees us always.
Oh thank you for the reminder of Hagar’s story. Isn’t incredible how God, in our most vulnerable moments, comes to sit with us and reminds us that we are His. That in all our mess and fears and unknowns, He loves us and wants to sit with us and wants us to sit embraces in a love that is like no other and completely safe.
just what I needed right now. Thank you and God bless you.
Aww bless ❤️ thank you for taking a moment to read it xx
