I know how it feels to wake up already exhausted, to stare at the ceiling and wonder how you’re supposed to keep going. I know the weight of something too heavy to carry, the kind of pain that makes you want to curl up and disappear for a while.
Life has a way of throwing storms at us that we never signed up for, battles we never wanted to fight. And some days, it feels like too much. Like the road is too long. Like we don’t have what it takes to make it through.
But listen to me, lovely—you can do hard things.
Not because you have to do it alone. Not because you have to be the strongest person in the room. Not because you have to hold everything together. But because there is something inside you that is built to withstand the storm.
I know it doesn’t feel like it. I know you might be barely holding on. I know the thought of one more step, one more day, one more moment might feel impossible. But you are stronger than you know. You are braver than you think. You are still here, and that alone is proof that you are capable of walking through this, even when it feels like you can’t.
Think about all the hard things you’ve already done.
You’ve faced nights that felt like they would never end.
You’ve carried grief in your bones and still found a way to move forward.
You’ve stood in the fire and come out the other side, maybe scarred, maybe shaken, but still standing.
You can do this, too.
And here’s the thing… God is not asking you to do it all at once. He’s not asking you to have all the answers or to be fearless or to never break down. He’s just asking you to take one step. Just one. And then another.
Hard things don’t mean impossible things.
Hard things don’t mean you’re alone.
Hard things don’t mean you won’t make it.
I know it feels overwhelming. I know the road ahead seems too much. But there is more strength in you than you realize. There is more grace than you think. And there is a God who is holding you, guiding you, walking beside you when you don’t know how to move forward. And what you will share with others, is this… you know how to witness from your scars and no longer your wounds.
So take a breath, lovely.
You don’t have to have it all figured out today. You just have to keep going.
One breath at a time.
One prayer at a time.
One step at a time.
You can do hard things. And one day, you’ll look back and see… you didn’t just survive.
You overcame.
And that? That will be a beautiful thing.
