Isn’t it amazing how we can endure so much personally, standing firm in faith as the enemy tries to chip away at us? Yet, when the attack turns toward our loved ones—something fierce awakens. That lioness you’ve struggled to unleash within you suddenly breaks free, and the enemy has no idea what he’s just provoked.
This week was one of those weeks for me. Normally, I’d share every detail, opening my heart to expose the struggle—but this battle feels too raw, too fresh to fully unpack. Let me just say this: I’ve spent my life pouring myself out to see those I love flourish. I’ve prayed over my family with every ounce of faith I have, asking for peace, protection, wisdom, and strength. I’ve trusted in God’s promises and stood firm, knowing the enemy would come for me because of my unshakable love for Jesus.
But when he came for my family? That’s where he crossed the line.
And I’m angry. Not just a little upset—no, there’s a righteous fury burning inside of me like never before. Angry that the enemy would dare to try to oppress someone I love. Angry that he thought I would just stand by. This isn’t just a feeling—it’s a fire. A fight. A determination to take this battle straight to the feet of my Savior and let God fight for me. It’s a refusal to let the enemy gain an inch. That anger stirred something in me that I hadn’t realized was lying dormant: the absolute refusal to back down when my family is on the line.
As I wept, prayed, and poured my heart out to God, I heard His Spirit speak loud and clear: “Arise. Pick up your sword.” In that moment, my fear disappeared, and a holy determination took its place.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
This is what I want to share with you today, fellow warriors: It’s time to arise. The enemy’s mission is to steal, kill, and destroy—but God’s mission is life, victory, and freedom. The enemy thinks he can weaken us by attacking those we love, but all he’s done is awaken the fighter within. I’m not hiding this side of me, this anger, because it’s part of who God made me to be—a warrior for my family. That righteous fury is not weakness; it’s a holy call to fight for what God has entrusted to me.
It’s time to cover our loved ones in fervent prayer, declaring the name of Jesus over every scheme and attack the enemy tries to throw our way. Repeat His name. Speak His Word. Stand firm and let the sword of the Spirit—God’s living Word—go to work. Swing it like there’s no tomorrow because in the Spirit, victory is already ours.
Prayer warriors, it’s time to rise up like never before. Stand on God’s promises, remind the enemy of his defeat, and do not grow weary. The Lord, our living water, will refresh and sustain you.
This is a season to fight—not with fear or striving, but with the unshakable confidence that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us. We do not fight for victory—we fight from it.
So here’s my call to action: Warriors, it’s time to share this message. Encourage others to pick up their swords and start swinging. Speak life, declare Jesus, and push back the darkness over your families, your communities, and your own hearts. The battle is the Lord’s, but we are called to stand.
This is our time. Let’s arise and watch as God moves in power like never before.

"We do not fight for Victory. We fight from it". What powerful words those are and a strong reminder that we can't lose this war, because the One who leads us into battle has already won it. We fight from Him and with Him Who is the source of all power and strength.
Yes ditto to the above. Excellent article.
