As Christmas draws near and the busyness begins, I wanted to pause now—before the rush—to reflect, bring an update and say thank you. To everyone who has journeyed with me at Little Sparrow Loved this year, thank you for being here, for sharing in this space, and for walking alongside me as we seek Jesus together.
This year has been one of waiting. Of learning to sit in His peace, lean into the stillness, and listen to the quiet, tender promptings of the Holy Spirit. Honestly, I never imagined that God would use this little space to encourage and bless so many lives—and yet, He has.
Here’s just a glimpse of what your support has helped make possible this year:
• Weekly Posts: I know to some, I post a lot! But I don’t have a schedule. If the Holy Spirit prompts, I write. even if I’m in the car, the grocery store or on my daily walk… I will stop, type and hit publish. I’m so blessed that I am able to do that and encourage even one person that day. Next year, will be a little different with one free and one paid member post a week. I really want to dive in with my Little Sparrow Loved Crew and hang out in the chat space more and really connect. I hope you join me there!
• Gift Boxes of Light: We sent out over 30 gift boxes to women around the world—women God placed on my heart after they reached out, sharing their struggles with grief, infertility, bullying, loneliness, and more. Every single box was prayed over and sent with a card that read, “A blessing for you from the Little Sparrow Loved Crew.” Photos of some in the above picture. I don’t make social media posts about these, ever, because all the glory belongs to God. My prayer is that next year, we’ll double that number and send hundreds of cards to go along with them. So if you would like to become a paid partner, please pray about it and I’d love for you to come on board (totally optional of course). Or even gift a subscription to someone this Christmas Season.
• My Prayer Wall: Every prayer request you’ve shared has been written down and placed on my wall. Every single one. I walk into my office daily, place my hands on those requests, and pray. And they never come down. I’ve decided to keep expanding the wall until, one day, it fills the whole room. New post about it will be in the January line up.
• Subscriber Cards: I love to do this twice a year, if not more. Free & paid can be a part of this beautiful tradition. I put out a post where you can send me your address privately and I will pray and write you a card that you receive in the mail. There’s nothing like going to your mailbox and knowing that someone took the time to pray and write to you and I want to keep that tangible gift alive. This year, I was blessed to send out 50 and even more blessed that quite a few took the time to send me a card too! So, keep a look out for the posts next year where I invite you to hopefully receive one for yourself.
Now, here’s the great part about what you’ll always see here: it’s not perfect. This space is run by a woman who lives in leggings, tosses her hair into a messy bun ninety percent of the time, doesn’t have all the answers, and yet chooses to trust the Lord daily. So, show up here just as you are—because that’s exactly how I’m showing up too.
As we look to the year ahead, I pray you know, as you journey here with me, that you are seen and loved. You don’t have to walk alone through this life. It’s such a gift to show up here and encourage you. I don’t have polished words or perfect answers—just my heart words, and I pray they continue to be enough.
Next year will hold even more: honest posts from my raw faith walk (the highs, the lows, and the questions), monthly devotionals and private posts for my crew, and ways to keep us grounded in truth and grace. My prayer is that this space continues to point us back to Him and reminds us that we’re never alone.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for walking this journey with me. Let’s keep showing up, keep encouraging each other, and keep shining His light in the world. Here’s to the holiday posts ahead and another year of trusting God together—messy buns, leggings and all.
With love and gratitude,
Sarah x.
