I used to think my worth was something I had to earn. If I prayed enough, did enough, pleased enough—then maybe I’d feel like I mattered. Like I had a place. Like I wasn’t just a quiet soul in a loud world, hoping someone would notice.
Maybe you’ve felt that too. That deep, aching question: Am I enough?
It’s easy to let life answer for us. A promotion, a kind word, an invitation—maybe that means I matter. A rejection, a failure, a season of silence—maybe that means I don’t. We let people, circumstances, and fleeting emotions tell us what we’re worth, and before we know it, we’re measuring our value by something that was never meant to hold it.
And that’s exactly what the enemy wants.
Sometimes I think he just sits back and lets us beat up on ourselves because the world is so self-focused. He doesn’t have to do much when we’re already drowning in our own thoughts, questioning if we’re enough, if we’re seen, if we have purpose. He lets the whispers of comparison, insecurity, and rejection play on repeat because he knows that if he can get us to forget our worth, we’ll stop walking in it.
And I’m tired of it.
I’m tired of knowing that so many people walk around feeling undervalued because the world doesn’t stop long enough to truly appreciate. I’m tired of watching beautiful souls shrink, wondering if they matter, questioning if they’re seen. I’m tired of the lie that says you have to earn your worth like it’s some prize to be won.
So here I am. And I’m going to tell you exactly how invaluable you are.
Because darling, God didn’t just create you for the heck of it. He’s intentional. Every part of you, your heart, your mind, your soul—was woven together by the hands of the One who spoke the stars into place. He carved purpose into your bones. He breathed life into you with love so deep, so fierce, so unwavering that nothing—nothing—can take it away.
You are God’s masterpiece.
Not a side project. Not an afterthought. Not something He threw together without care. A masterpiece, crafted with purpose, designed with love, treasured beyond measure.
And you have the power to change the way you see yourself.
It’s called choice.
When those thoughts come—the ones that tell you you’re not enough, that you’re unseen, that you don’t matter… counteract them with truth.
The truth, lovely.
The truth that says you are fearfully and wonderfully made. That your worth was settled before you took your first breath. That you are loved beyond measure, beyond performance, beyond human opinion.
“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” - Luke 12:6-7
Let that sink in. Every detail of you is known. Counted. Treasured.
So if today finds you doubting, if you’ve been waiting for someone to see you, to tell you that you matter—let me be that person. You are seen. You are loved. You are valuable beyond words, beyond measure, beyond anything this world can offer.
There has never been a moment… not one, where you were anything less than completely, unshakeably, eternally loved.
That is the truth.
And it changes everything.
Love, Sarah x.
