Dear Christian Misfit,
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt understanding of the journey you're on. It's not easy being the one who doesn't quite fit into the neatly constructed boxes and images of what it means to walk in faith. I see you, and I recognize the struggle you face as you navigate a path that often feels like it's on the outskirts of what is deemed acceptable or orthodox.
Your walk with faith is like a symphony of uniqueness, a dance to the rhythm of life that is truly spectacular to behold. While others may conform to the expectations and norms of the religious community, you dare to be different. You embrace your individuality, refusing to be confined by the limitations of preconceived notions.
I understand the pressure you feel to conform, to fit into the mold of what a "good Christian" should look like. But let me remind you of something profound: Jesus himself was a misfit. He challenged societal norms, he associated with outcasts, and he shattered expectations at every turn. He was one of a kind, and in your unique journey, you reflect his radical love and acceptance.
It's okay to feel like you don't quite fit in. In fact, it's more than okay—it's courageous. Your willingness to stand out, to be the misfit in a world that often values conformity above authenticity, is an act of bravery. Your authenticity is a beacon of light in a world that sometimes feels dark and suffocating.
So, embrace your misfit status. Embrace the fact that your walk with Jesus may look different from those around you. Your journey is valid, your experiences are valuable, and your voice matters. Don't let anyone dull your shine or diminish your worth.
Continue to be brave. Continue to be true to yourself and to the God who created you. Your spectacular walk with Jesus is an inspiration to those who are brave enough to see beyond the confines of tradition and embrace the limitless possibilities of faith.
With deep empathy and solidarity,
Love Sarah x.
